What happens when science meets a real-world problem?
Students become a team of environmental scientists investigating a former industrial site being considered for redevelopment.
Across 7 hands-on sessions, students will use chemistry, physics, biology and engineering in real-world applications to investigate soil, water, air, radiation and ecology.
But this isn't a textbook investigation! Students will plan sampling, collect evidence, send samples to our "laboratory", interpret results and piece together the story of what happened at the site.
