Service Description

Launchpad Biology is Maniacs’ project-based learning program for older students (11+), designed with a strong academic focus aligned to Years 7 and up. Students work with real biological investigations, developing practical lab skills through microscopy, slide preparation, and structured experiments. Across the term, participants observe living systems, examine microscopic worlds, and analyse biological growth and change. Investigations may include hay infusions, microbial growth, plant structures, and guided specimen dissections, allowing students to explore biology through direct observation and evidence-based reasoning. ✔ 60-minute weekly sessions ✔ All materials & lab equipment provided ✔ Includes Tiny Science Lab pocket microscope & kit ✔ Hands-on investigations & activities ✔ Inquiry-driven, high-engagement learning ✔ Small group experience Term Fee: $250 per child (excluding booking fee) – one booking per child required Class Size: Maximum 15 students
